A few things to know.
Can I book or pay for a ride now?+
No. OrbitCab offers vehicle discovery, ten trip references with automatic stock-token comparisons, and wallet connection. Live address search requires a configured provider. OrbitCab does not currently process bookings, swaps or payments.
Is this only available in Austin?+
There is no Austin-only restriction in the planner. Address and road-route availability follow the data provider. Vehicle cards are a discovery collection, not a promise of inventory in a particular city.
Where do the fares come from?+
The Assets page uses Uber’s published route averages, checked September 9, 2026, and labeled Estimated fare. Each trip links to its source. These saved references are not live quotes and do not respond to traffic or demand. Custom trips require an external fare provider; they are not calculated from these presets.
Does one token always equal one share?+
Not necessarily. Corporate actions can change the shares-per-token multiplier. The reference calculator uses the issuer’s current multiplier and the underlying bid/ask midpoint. It is not an executable exchange quote.
Do I need TSLA to explore a Tesla?+
No. Vehicle manufacturer, rental provider and prospective payment asset are separate choices. No asset is currently accepted for booking on OrbitCab.
What does connecting my wallet do?+
It lets OrbitCab read the public address you approve and your selected network. It does not send funds or authorize spending. You can disconnect the session at any time; wallet permissions can also be managed in your wallet.
Is OrbitCab affiliated with these companies?+
OrbitCab is an independent project. Manufacturer names identify vehicles and company names identify referenced assets. No partnership with Tesla, Robinhood or any listed manufacturer or ride operator is implied.
